PE is on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Please ensure that your child wears their P.E. kit into school on these days. P.E. will take place outside unless the weather is particularly adverse. With this in mind, please make sure your child is wearing tracksuit bottoms and hoodie/sweatshirt particularly during the Autumn term. In addition, children should bring a spare pair of shoes with them into school to change into in case their trainers get wet and/or muddy.
French is taught by a member of staff from Stowupland High School on Tuesday afternoons.
Reading, SPAG, Writing and Maths are taught every morning. Wider curriculum lessons are taught in the afternoon.
Homework is set on Friday and is handed in the following Wednesday.
It is expected that children continue to read every day when they are in Year 6, for at least 20 minutes every day. They should record their reading in their reading records.
