EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant 1:1


Cedars Park Primary School is looking to recruit an appropriately experienced, enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join our dedicated, supportive and highly effective team.


We are looking for highly motivated team players, with a calm and patient approach who:

  • Are able to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Are able to support the pupil within class, during break times, with intimate care and around the school.
  • Can form positive relationships and undertake the key worker role, liaising with the SENDco, health professionals and parents.
  • Have the ability to deliver personalised activities to improve strength and mobility, under the guidance of the Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Are willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary

Cedars Park Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Hours of work: 8:30am to 3pm, Monday – Thursday, 8:15am – 3pm Friday, 39 weeks per year.


Rate of Pay: £17173 pro rata.

Vacancy Description

We require an enthusiastic apprentice to join our Early Years Foundation Stage team at Cedars Park Park Primary School in Stowmarket. Duties would include supporting children in our Reception classes with all aspect of their learning in the delivery of the early years curriculum.

  • Competency in reading, writing and maths is essential and is important that you are a good communicator
